Service points for gas, water, drainage, and power are fixed before joinery design. Hob, sink, and refrigeration are positioned for minimum travel distance and safe operation. Worktop depth and clearance comply with access and safety requirements. No zone shares a primary work surface.
Circulation width in the work area is maintained at 1100 mm minimum. Door swings, appliance openings, and pull-out clearances were verified against plan. This prevents interference during use and ensures the delivered kitchen matches approved drawings.
Storage is specified by content, frequency of use, and access height. Drawers, shelves, and tall units are allocated for cookware, dry goods, and cleaning stock. Items used daily are located between 600 mm and 1500 mm from floor level. This reduces reach, bending, and retrieval time.
PMC detailed vertical storage, pull-outs, and corner units for capacity and access. Load ratings for drawers and hinges are specified by kilogram and cycle count. Internal partitions are dimensioned for standard utensils and containers. Each compartment has a defined function.
Hardware is stainless grade 304 for wet zones. Channels and lifts are selected for load, silent close, and maintenance access. All joinery is executed to perform to specification at handover and after ten years of service.
A kitchen is correct when zones are sequenced, storage is allocated, and hardware performs to rated load and cycles. Specification determines finish. There is no variance between drawing and site.
PMC Design Standards
Materials are specified for heat, moisture, and stain resistance. Countertops are selected for load, impact, and cleanability. Carcass and shutter substrates are selected for dimensional stability in humid conditions. All laminates, acrylic, and stone were approved by sample before procurement.
Edge bands, sealants, and adhesives are specified for water ingress control. Cut-outs for hob, sink, and taps are factory-processed with edge sealing and reinforcement. Finishes are applied under controlled conditions with documented thickness and curing time.
PMC fixed electrical, gas, and plumbing routes before civil closure. All services were tested and photographed before concealment. PMC managed site execution under a checked schedule with hold points for inspection. The kitchen was delivered to match the approved material schedule and drawings with zero deviation.
